Project Scope:
To create a new, innovative way to further amplify the City of Sydney's Christmas iconography across the CBD whilst installing existing assets.
Project Outline:
Chas Clarkson's vision for the Woolworths building facade at Town Hall Station in Sydney's CBD was to transform it into the largest Twinkly light wall in the Southern Hemisphere, the second largest in the world! 91,500 individual, programmable LEDs were individually strung across the building’s facade enabling us to create a dynamic light show at key times throughout the evenings. The City of Sydney's classic Christmas iconography was animated and brought to life with additional festive messaging and imagery, displayed in this breath-taking scale. The festive illuminations continued down George Street where a series of projectors were installed, allowing us to activate the exterior of the Queen Victoria Building and truly bring the city to life at night with COS festive branding illuminations.
