As part of our ongoing partnership with Scentre Group in Australia and New Zealand, Chas Clarkson was engaged to create a world-class Christmas decoration suite for Westfield Newmarket. The design brief was to develop a landmark signature entrance and decoration solution to match the premium finishes of the redeveloped shopping centre. The imposing 4 metre Entrance Wreath was suspended beneath a glass awning in a highly-exposed outdoor location, presenting significant engineering and rigging challenges. Santa’s picture-perfect photography experience and the centre-wide decorations created a magical backdrop for the grand re-opening of Auckland’s premium shopping destination.
