Project Outline:
Chas Clarkson designed and produced the iconic Martin Place Christmas Tree back in 2002. The tree would go on to be installed for nearly another 20 years, such was the quality of our work. Over the years, Chas introduced cosmetic enhancements and interactive elements, including the introduction of a digital ribbon in 2014 that wrapped the tree with visitor messages and the ability for the tree illumination to be controlled from a touch screen. Sydney’s Christmas experience was further enhanced with landmark decorations at Sydney Town Hall, Taylor Square and St. Mary’s Cathedral. Our work with the City of Sydney firmly cemented Sydney as a worldwide Christmas destination.
