Project Outline:
Chas Clarkson created a collection of large-scale, place-making festive decorations that were displayed in Parramatta Square, wishing families, tourists, and the surrounding business community a 'Merry Christmas'. City visitors were invited to walk through a proudly illuminated 11.5-meter Christmas Tree and 3.5-meter Otaki arch experiences. Printed vinyl QR codes placed around the decorations encouraged visitors to interact with an augmented-reality Santa using an Instagram filter to capture moments of holiday cheer.
