Project Outline:
Chas Clarkson was tasked with bringing Cartier Oceania Head Office's design vision to life using the in-house production services and creative team, illuminating the façade and windows of the newly built Cartier's Sydney Flagship Store's inaugural Christmas window display, as well as multiple stores in Melbourne and Sydney. Chas Clarkson's industrial designers and production team reverse-engineered the concept, ensuring that the design not only looked like the intended vision but was also functional and fully engineered for stability and safety. The store featured engineered exterior and interior fixtures made of mirror-polished stainless steel, giving the impression that the lights were floating in the windows. Each frame was custom-made to fit each window along the store's curved architectural facade, complete with a hidden electric cabling system for a premium finish. Looking at the external facade of Sydney's newest flagship store, the light bulb's channel system was divided into several sections so that it could wrap around the building's curved hero window.
